John Bleich – President/Founder
John has been rigging in the entertainment industry for more than 35 years. He has toured with a multitude of high profile performers and pioneered a number of techniques to assist with safe and efficient event rigging. Under his leadership, ProRig has evolved well beyond a rigging equipment rental shop and moved into a full labor company and exceptionally capable permanent installation contractor. John serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the ETCP rigging certification program. In his minimal amount of spare time, he can be found admiring fine machines for transportation on the ground and in the air.
Danny Villanueva – General Manager
Danny oversees the day to day operation of the company with a very hands-on approach. Relying on his 25+ years of project management and commercial construction experience, Danny is directly involved in the daily planning and management of Production and Rigging Resources, Inc. Throughout his career he has been involved with all aspects of project management and construction including the RFP process, design, schematics, electrical, fabrication and installation. Prior to ProRig, he spent more than 15 years in the sign industry where he managed the manufacturing and installation of state-of-the-art signs and sign packages. He was responsible for leading ongoing complex customer relationships and major conversion and rebranding projects including design, manufacturing, permitting and installation. Danny knows what it takes to get the job done and is as comfortable in the boardroom as he is in the field. Any time he has to himself is spent with his family or on the golf course.
Keith Bohn – Business Development Manager
Keith has been in the entertainment industry for over 25 years. During this time, he has been involved in the use, manufacturing, and design of structural rigging solutions ranging from simple truss to complex permanently installed structures. Keith has also served the industry through ESTA as a principle voting member for the Rigging Working Group since 1998, and has chaired the task group assigned to create and revise ANSI E1.21-2013; Temporary Structures Used for Technical Production of Outdoor Entertainment Events. Keith is also a Founding Contributor of the Event Safety Alliance and contributed on a number of topics contained in The Event Safety Guide. Additionally, he has taught classes on the safe use of truss and outdoor structures worldwide. He is an ETCP Certified Rigger-Arena and ETCP Recognized Trainer. Keith continues to pursue the limitations of the laws of physics in his down time on as many golf courses as he can find.
Alex Goodpasture – Lead Rigger
Alex has been a lead rigger for ProRig for more than 10 years. He is an ETCP Certified Rigger-Arena. He leads crews for both temporary events as well as construction crews during permanent installations. He is rope access trained and has also completed OSHA 30 training. He is capable of planning and directing all onsite rigging activities including safety plans.
Beginning as a lighting tech in San Diego, CA over 10 years ago,Marcus has been a quick study. After making his way back to Dallas, he rapidly added power distribution and rigging equipment to his knowledge base. Eventually managing a warehouse full of automated and conventional lighting as well as rigging equipment, Marcus then joined ProRig in 2012 to help manage the warehouse and rapidly growing inventory. Additionally, he has completed Lodestar certification with Columbus McKinnon.
After some quality time at TCU, Ed entered the ranks of entertainment professionals by joining the ProRig team in 2001. In his tenure, he has worn many hats and gained invaluable experience performing tasks ranging from loading trucks to high steel overhead event rigging, and most everything in between. Ed currently wears the official badge of labor coordinator, arranging staffing of up to 150+ stage hands, riggers, electricians, camera operators, etc. for the various events ProRig supports. Additionally, he can regularly be seen personally making deliveries and solving various challenges as they arise.
Leslie Glod – Labor Coordinator
Leslie has been in the Entertainment Industry for 5 years managing AV and rigging equipment, handling scheduling for riggers and some hands-on rigging experience. 10 years before jumping into the AV world was spent dealing with customer relations and office management.
